Titled La Vittoria, this work is an homage to its inspiration—the tile flooring at the Excelsior Vittoria Hotel in Sorrento, Italy. I was inspired by these tiles while visiting with my family in 2024; I fell in love with the patterns and feminine colors and wanted to recreate my own version as a way to remember this significant trip in my family’s life.
